Meet George Bush

George Bush is the son of Susa Ahmed, a student in our primary school in Yabus. For better or worse, America’s influence has stretched far and wide. We are in Kenya now and this country is beaming with the nomination of Obama for the Democratic party. Half-Kenyan, he has been claimed as a hero here and the naming of children, schools, and even matatus (buses) is very common right now.

That is too funny. I remember seeing a matatu in TZ called "Monica Lewinsky"! Anyway, I tried to comment on the plane crash post but was unable to. I have been a silent blog-lurker on your blog until now. That post gave me goose-bumps! I pray for you guys and am so glad that the Lord is giving you affirmation of His protection over you! Blessings!

Praying for you guys. Love you tons!

I heard about the plane crash soon after it happened and it shook me up because not only did I know 2 of the nurses but we'd flown out of Akobo on that same plane. So glad you guys are okay. What an awesome sign from God!

Why does sickness like to hang around so long???

Only a few days after returning from our trip to Kenya, Judah started spiking high fevers. We took him to our clinic here in town for blood ...
