A "taste" of our lives in South Sudan...

This is a typical Sunday afternoon in Melut. In the heat of the day, ladies gather in the shade to visit and drink coffee and tea. The ladies take turns hosting it at their homes. I so enjoy these special women God has brought to GTC.

Miriam roasted the coffee beans

Mary was our host yesterday and she roasted fresh maize from her garden

Viola served the tea

So glad you have these wonderful women for friends! And I love how they just brought the bed right out there in the yard to relax on. Haha.

Hospitality takes on a whole new meaning when you are roasting your own coffee beans! yikes! :)

Why does sickness like to hang around so long???

Only a few days after returning from our trip to Kenya, Judah started spiking high fevers. We took him to our clinic here in town for blood ...
