What not to bring

I was looking through some old photos and had to post this one. Often items get sent as gifts with great intentions but land in the wrong place. A ski-mask in Sudan makes about as much sense as spinach to our four year old, Isaac. "What AM I suppossed to do with this?" After explaining to Abdul, who is a great student, how to put the mask on and explaining why one would wear it, I snapped this photo. We laughed and went our ways. I am not sure what he decided to do with it.

That's hillarious. I can't wait to have those stories. Should we add ski goggles to our pack list?

Oh that's funny! It reminds e of when I went to Sri Lanka to do disaster relief. The pastor we worked with had boxes people had sent him to help. One was full of parkas, the other was full of used lipstick!

Gotta love life in another country!

Why does sickness like to hang around so long???

Only a few days after returning from our trip to Kenya, Judah started spiking high fevers. We took him to our clinic here in town for blood ...
